New factory complete electrical & security fit-out including 11kV substation
Crust and Crumb is Ireland’s largest manufacturer of ambient, chilled, frozen flatbread and garlic bread products. As part of their recent rapid expansion, a new factory was needed, for which we were contracted to supply the power, electrical, and security systems.
Our Solution
We consulted with the customer on their plans, and put forward a design for an 11kV substation from to be installed in a purpose-built housing, and we made the relevant applications to ESB Networks, liaising with the customer on the precise ESB Networks housing requirements for the substation. We arranged with power equipment experts Conlon Power Services to supply and install the substation and low-voltage switchgear. We completed the full factory fit-out, including interior and exterior lighting, CCTV, fire alarms and emergency lighting, and access control, from empty shell to fully functional factory fully signed-off to Irish regulatory requirements and ready to go.
